(Lancaster, CA) A man died in a crash on 170th Street East on Thursday morning, January 1, the California Highway Patrol reported. CHP officers arrived at the scene around 6:53 a.m. to the intersection of 170th Street East and Avenue P, where two vehicles had collided. Following the first collision, one vehicle spun out of control and hit a light pole. One man was declared dead at the scene by paramedics. Authorities later named the victim as 21-year-old Emmanuel Juarez. The cause of the crash is still being investigated. Analysis of the 170th Street East Collision.
