Los Angeles, CA (December 15, 2025) – A pedestrian suffered injuries Sunday afternoon during a hit-and-run crash at the S San Pedro St and E El Segundo Blvd intersection in South Los Angeles. The event took place around 1:25 p.m. , per California Highway Patrol reports. Emergency personnel reached the location to render medical aid to the injured pedestrian. The victim received on-site treatment and was taken to a nearby hospital for additional care. The severity of the injuries has not been revealed. The driver responsible for the crash left the scene prior to the officers’ arrival. Officials are conducting an active investigation into the incident and are striving to identify and track down the suspect vehicle. The intersection faced temporary disruptions while response teams arrived and gathered evidence. Authorities are requesting that witnesses in the vicinity provide any details that might assist the investigation.
