A fatal accident took place on Grand Avenue in Peoria, Arizona on Friday, November 7, causing the death of 70-year-old Michael Anthony Bianco. The Peoria Police Department reported that the collision happened near the intersections of 83rd and 85th avenues. Emergency teams arrived at the location and discovered Bianco with severe to critical wounds. Paramedics took him to a local hospital, but he passed away there. According to police, the accident involved two cars and a motorcycle, but the specifics of how the crash happened are still being investigated. Sections of Grand Avenue were shut down for several hours in both directions as authorities gathered evidence and cleared the area. The Peoria Police Department is urging anyone with information to reach out to them as the investigation is ongoing. Summary of the Grand Avenue Collision. When a motorcycle is part of a multi-vehicle accident, investigators usually look into the Right-of-Way and Turning Law. Drivers turning must give way to oncoming traffic that poses an immediate danger. Figuring out which vehicle had the right-of-way and whether a turn or lane change led to the accident will be crucial in this situation. If speed was a factor, the Reasonable and Prudent Speed Law might also come into play. This law mandates that drivers must keep a speed that is appropriate for the road, traffic, and weather conditions.
