Oxnard, CA (October 26, 2025) – On Saturday morning, emergency responders arrived at the scene of a traffic accident in the El Rio East neighborhood of Oxnard, where injuries were reported. The accident happened around 10:37 a.m. Close to the junction of N Rose Ave and Collins St, there was a need for an immediate response from paramedics and local authorities. First responders, encompassing emergency medical teams and firefighters, attended to at least one person injured at the location. The exact level of injuries from the accident is still unknown, but medical personnel rendered immediate assistance before taking the victim to a nearby hospital for additional assessment. The event led to hold-ups at the intersection as teams worked to help those affected and clear the vehicles from the road. Information regarding the exact number of vehicles involved or the factors contributing to the accident is not yet known. The Oxnard Police Department is currently looking into the incident to establish what caused it. New updates will be provided as more details become available.
