In South Los Angeles, California, an incident occurred on Tuesday, October 7, around 1:37 a.m. A collision on the southbound 110 Freeway close to the West Florence Avenue exit resulted in the death of a pedestrian, prompting officials to attend to the scene and investigate the cause of the incident. The California Highway Patrol reported that multiple vehicles were part of the early morning accident. Officers on the scene found a pedestrian who had been hit and declared them deceased at the location. The identity of the individual has not been disclosed by authorities, including their name, age, and gender, as they are waiting to notify the family. Following the accident, law enforcement issued a SigAlert that closed all southbound lanes near Florence Avenue.
