Los Angeles, CA (September 27, 2025) – A woman in her thirties sadly lost her life after being hit by a car on Thursday night on Wilshire Blvd close to Figueroa St, as reported by the Los Angeles Police Department. The accident took place at approximately 8:00 p.m. as the woman fell down in the street while trying to cross Wilshire Blvd. Shortly after, a 1987 Honda Civic collided with her. First responders quickly arrived at the location, and paramedics administered urgent medical assistance before taking her to a local hospital. Despite attempts to save her, she was ultimately declared deceased due to her injuries. The male driver of the Honda Civic stayed at the location, called 911, and worked with the investigators. Law enforcement stated that he exhibited no indications of impairment, and no one was taken into custody. The woman’s identity has not been disclosed by authorities, and it is still uncertain whether elements like drug use or homelessness contributed to the situation. The LAPD continues its investigation into the deadly accident. We extend our heartfelt sympathies to the family and friends of the woman who tragically lost her life.
