Long Beach, CA (September 22, 2025) – A late-night collision occurred at the junction of Pacific Avenue and West Spring Street on Sunday, resulting in injuries to two people. This incident triggered a response from multiple agencies and led to a call for extra rescue assistance. The accident was reported at approximately 10:34 p.m. Fire and rescue teams were sent to the location after receiving reports of injuries. When they arrived, first responders found two individuals in need of assessment and medical care. Because of the seriousness of the situation, an extra rescue team was requested to help with patient care, and the police instructed emergency teams to position themselves close by, signaling that the incident was still ongoing. Battalion 3 took command of the situation, operating under Pacific Incident Command. Both Rescue 9 and Rescue 11 arrived, with their crews verifying that two people were being evaluated for trauma injuries at the site. While the specifics and severity of the injuries have not been made public, the involvement of several rescue teams indicates that both individuals needed specialized medical attention. Traffic in the vicinity was briefly disrupted as emergency personnel handled the situation. Investigators are looking into the events that resulted in the accident.
