Long Beach, CA (September 18, 2025) – On Wednesday afternoon, a hazardous materials truck flipped over on 7th Street in Long Beach, resulting in injuries to three individuals and triggering a comprehensive emergency response that included evaluations of structural integrity. The event took place at approximately 12:02 PM. On September 17, emergency responders arrived at the scene near the intersection of 7th Street and Silvera Avenue, as reported by Long Beach Fire Department radio communications. They discovered a commercial fumigation truck that had overturned, carrying large containers, and there was potentially one building affected by the incident. Emergency medical teams started providing care to three people who were injured at the location. Reports indicated that at least one individual was found unconscious, necessitating rescue efforts to access several victims. In light of hazardous materials and possible structural risks, 7th Street was closed in both directions between Bellflower Blvd and Border Ave. Specialized teams, such as HazMat and structural support units, were sent to evaluate the area for chemical dangers and the stability of the building. According to the most recent update, emergency personnel are still engaged in securing the location and organizing transport to hospitals. The details regarding the injured individuals have not been completely disclosed. Our thoughts are with them, and we wish for their swift recovery.
