A traffic collision was reported at about 3:57 p.m. Sept. 11 on eastbound Interstate 80 near the Interstate 780 connector in the Solano area. The location was described as eastbound I-80 just west of the I-780 connection.
The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a traffic collision with an ambulance en route. The dispatch information did not specify the nature or severity of any injuries.
A subsequent CHP update at about 3:59 p.m. indicated that two vehicles were involved, along with at least one unidentified vehicle. The available dispatch did not provide vehicle descriptions or explain how the collision occurred.
No lane closure, roadway blockage, tow request or other later response was documented in the available CHP information. The incident remained listed near the eastbound I-80 and I-780 connector in Solano County.
