A traffic collision was reported at about 6:34 p.m. Sept. 9 on northbound Interstate 710 just south of the Interstate 91 connector in the South Los Angeles area. The California Highway Patrol later classified the crash as involving no reported injuries.

At 6:36 p.m., CHP updated the incident classification from a collision with unknown injuries to a no-injury traffic collision. The dispatch information did not identify any additional vehicles, roadway closures or emergency medical response.
