A traffic collision was reported at about 7:04 a.m. Sept. 7 on westbound Interstate 210 near Cherry Avenue in California. The California Highway Patrol dispatch classified the incident as a collision with an ambulance en route.
A later CHP update stated that the crash damaged approximately 30 feet of chain-link fencing on the east side of Cherry Avenue. The damaged fence was identified near the collision location.
CHP reported no immediate hazard associated with the damaged fence at the time of the update, which was logged at about 7:24 a.m. The dispatch information did not specify the vehicles involved or describe any injuries.
The available CHP information also did not state whether traffic lanes were blocked or provide additional details about the collision. The incident was handled through the CHP area serving Rancho Cucamonga.
