A traffic collision was reported at 11:52 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, on northbound Interstate 15 near the Temecula South interchange and State Route 79. The California Highway Patrol dispatch indicated that an ambulance was en route to the scene.
The incident location was identified as northbound I-15 at Temecula South, where the freeway meets or connects with State Route 79. CHP assigned the incident to its Temecula area.
A later dispatch update, recorded at 12:59 a.m. Wednesday, noted an estimated 10-minute arrival time. The update did not identify the responding resource beyond the dispatch notation.
CHP did not provide information about the vehicles involved, reported injuries, lane closures or the circumstances leading to the collision. No additional roadway impact was specified in the available dispatch information.
