A traffic collision was reported at about 11:50 p.m. Sept. 4 on eastbound Interstate 10 near 4th Street in California. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a collision with no reported injuries.
The initial dispatch information did not identify the number or types of vehicles involved. The report placed the incident at the eastbound I-10 connection near 4th Street.
At 11:51 p.m., the reporting party said it was unclear whether the vehicle involved could be driven. The dispatch information did not indicate that anyone was trapped or required medical transportation.
CHP provided no additional details about lane closures, traffic delays, vehicle damage or towing activity. The available report documented the collision and the uncertainty about the vehicle’s drivability.
