A minor-injury collision was reported Monday afternoon on southbound U.S. 101 just south of 3rd Avenue in the Redwood City area. The incident was logged at approximately 3:22 p.m. on Aug. 24, 2026, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch information.
The crash location was identified near the southbound 101 on-ramp at 3rd Avenue. CHP classified the incident as a traffic collision involving minor injuries.
A later dispatch update at about 3:43 p.m. requested towing assistance for a vehicle involved in the collision. The update indicated that the vehicle had significant damage.
