Pedestrian Safety at Major Urban Intersections. Turning movements at intersections like Beach Boulevard and Artesia Boulevard can pose risks. When injuries occur in Buena Park, crews typically work to stabilize traffic flow and safeguard those at the scene. Major urban roads often feature steady traffic across multiple lanes, heightening the risk of collisions when pedestrians cross. Even with signals directing traffic, drivers and pedestrians depend on good visibility and precise timing for safe passage through the intersection. Late-night conditions can further impair visibility and driver alertness.
