Compton, CA (January 18, 2026) – Emergency services responded to a collision involving injuries at the E Compton Blvd and S Atlantic Ave intersection on Saturday evening. The crash took place around 5:41 p.m. On 17 January. Initial reports indicate that at least one person was hurt in the crash, which occurred in a busy part of downtown Compton. Paramedics responded to the scene to assess and care for the injured party. Authorities have not disclosed the severity of the injuries or confirmed the number of vehicles involved. Traffic was briefly disrupted while emergency personnel aided the victim and examined the scene. Local officials are still investigating the cause of the crash.
