Long Beach, CA (January 9, 2026) – A crash involving injuries near the E Carson St and Palo Verde Ave intersection in Long Beach on Thursday morning led to a joint response from local police and fire departments. The incident took place around 11:11 a.m. On January 8, dispatchers got reports of a traffic crash with injuries. Shortly after, emergency responders from the Long Beach Fire Department and local police arrived at the scene to evaluate those involved and control the situation. At least one person was reported injured in the crash. Paramedics attended to the scene and provided treatment, with possible transport to a nearby hospital based on injury severity. However, specific medical outcomes have not yet been released. Authorities temporarily restricted traffic in the area while crews worked to assist the injured and clear the wreckage.
