On October 31, 2025, in Lake View Terrace, Los Angeles, a fatal hit-and-run accident resulted in one pedestrian passing away and another sustaining injuries on Thursday night. The Los Angeles Police Department reported that the accident happened at approximately 8:30 p.m. In the vicinity of Foothill Blvd and Kagel Canyon St., the perpetrator’s vehicle collided with two people before the vehicle sped off. The incident resulted in the vehicle losing a car bumper and other fragments, which were subsequently discovered by the investigators at the scene. Emergency responders from the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived promptly and discovered one victim dead at the location. The second pedestrian was taken to a local hospital in an unknown state. Officials have not disclosed the identities of those involved, and there is no confirmed description of the suspect vehicle. An extensive investigation is currently in progress, as law enforcement seeks to identify the driver and clarify the circumstances surrounding the unfortunate accident.
