Pedestrian accidents frequently happen at bustling intersections where vehicles and foot traffic intersect. Early morning hours often feature low visibility and consistent commuter traffic. When a driver flees the scene, it hinders emergency response times and complicates the investigation process. Officers usually inspect road markings, lighting, and vehicle damage to figure out how the crash happened. Road closures often occur during these investigations to let crews safely document the scene.
