The incident occurred in the area covered by the California Highway Patrol’s Altadena office. The dispatch location was identified at the junction of westbound I-210 and La Tuna Canyon Road.
By 3:58 p.m., CHP reported that a fire was blocking the westbound slow lane. The lane obstruction created a roadway hazard in the immediate area of the collision.
