A hit-and-run collision with no reported injuries was documented at about 3:30 p.m. Sept. 19 on Rock Springs Road near Deep Creek Road in California. The CHP listed the incident as occurring on the westbound roadway in its Victorville area.
The dispatch classification indicated that at least one vehicle was involved in a collision and left the scene. CHP did not provide a description of the vehicle, the circumstances of the impact or information about any damage.
By 3:46 p.m., the reporting party was no longer in the area, according to a CHP update. The update also noted that a follow-up request had been made in connection with an address in Hesperia.
No injuries were reported in the dispatch information. CHP did not provide additional details about the vehicle involved, the direction taken after the collision or whether the roadway experienced any lasting obstruction.
