A hit-and-run collision was reported Aug. 29 at a public storage facility on Power Inn Road in California’s South Sacramento area. The incident was classified by the California Highway Patrol as a hit-and-run with no reported injuries.
The collision was reported at about 4:19 p.m. at the Security Public Storage property on Power Inn Road. CHP dispatch information did not identify the vehicle that was struck or provide details about the extent of the damage.
A subsequent CHP update said video footage and photographs were available from the scene. The materials reportedly included information related to a U-Haul vehicle, a facility gate code and identification visible in the video.
According to the dispatch update, the video appeared to show that the driver involved knew a collision had occurred. No injuries were reported, and the available CHP information did not indicate that the driver had been identified or that an arrest had been made.
