On November 2, 2025, in Victorville, CA, a child was airlifted and an adult man was taken to the hospital after they were hit by a pickup truck as they crossed Nisqualli Road on a Saturday evening, as stated by local authorities. The event took place at approximately 7:30 p.m. close to the Casa Bella Apartments, slightly west of Hesperia Road. First responders from Victorville City Fire swiftly arrived at the scene and called for a helicopter ambulance to assist the severely injured 3-year-old girl, who was involved in a vehicular accident. She was first taken by ground ambulance to Victor Valley Global Medical Center and then airlifted to a regional trauma center for more specialized care. Paramedics also attended to an adult male at the location. He was taken by land to a nearby hospital for additional assessment and care. It has not been revealed the exact extent and seriousness of his injuries. Initial information suggests that the two individuals were trying to cross Nisqualli Road at a location other than a designated crosswalk when they were hit by a white 2007 Chevrolet Silverado moving in an eastbound direction. The female driver stayed at the location and cooperated completely with the investigators. She was unharmed but appeared to be noticeably upset after the crash. Deputies from the Victorville Police Department closed eastbound Nisqualli Road at First Street to carry out a detailed investigation.
