A two-vehicle hit-and-run collision was reported Sept. 10 on southbound State Route 99 near the Crows Landing Road off-ramp. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as involving no reported injuries.
The collision was first logged at about 2:43 p.m. at the southbound freeway off-ramp. Dispatch information identified the incident location as the area near Crows Landing Road.
A CHP update at 3:06 p.m. confirmed that two vehicles were involved and that the incident was being handled as a hit-and-run. The available dispatch information did not identify the vehicles or provide details about the suspected fleeing vehicle.
No injuries, ambulance response, lane closures or towing activity were documented in the available CHP updates. The CHP dispatch listed the Santa Fe Springs area in connection with the incident.
