(Northridge, CA) On Monday evening, December 8, two individuals sustained severe injuries following a three-vehicle accident on Balboa Boulevard close to Mayall Street. Emergency services arrived at the scene around 7:55 p.m. to 8845 North Balboa Boulevard. They discovered one car lodged against the front of a building and another leaned against a tree. LAFD spokesperson Jennifer Middleton reported that firefighters rescued two people who were stuck in their cars. Paramedics took both individuals to nearby hospitals where they are in serious condition. At the scene, four more individuals were administered care for their minor wounds. The reason for the collision is still being examined, and authorities have not provided information regarding what triggered the crash.
