A traffic collision was reported at about 2:51 p.m. Sept. 28 on the Brookhurst Street on-ramp to northbound Interstate 5. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a collision with injuries unknown.
The crash location was identified as the Brookhurst on-ramp leading to northbound I-5 in the Westminster CHP area. The dispatch information did not specify the number or types of vehicles involved.
CHP also did not provide information about any ambulance, fire department response, lane closures or blocked traffic resulting from the collision. The available report likewise did not indicate whether anyone was taken for medical treatment.
By 3:56 p.m., the parties involved had exchanged information, according to a CHP update. No hit-and-run was indicated in the dispatch record.
