(Glendale, AZ) A crash involving four vehicles on Grand Avenue on Friday evening, January 2, resulted in two hospitalizations and a temporary closure of a key West Valley road. Glendale police reported the incident at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Bethany Home Road. According to officers, paramedics took two individuals to nearby hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. First responders also assessed a third individual at the scene. Authorities withheld details about the victims. Police stated that both directions of Grand Avenue were closed temporarily while officers conducted their investigation and crews cleared the scene. The road reopened later. Investigators verified that one of the drivers was under evaluation for potential impairment. As of Friday night, no arrests have been made or charges filed by officers.
