A traffic collision was reported at about 3:04 p.m. Aug. 16 at the intersection of 167th Avenue and State Route 185 in California. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a collision with no reported injuries.
A black GMC was involved in the dispatch follow-up. At about 3:09 p.m., someone associated with the vehicle spoke with a child and the child’s mother.
The follow-up communication indicated that the child was okay and had no reported injuries. The information provided by CHP did not identify any other vehicles or describe damage.
The collision location was listed near 167th Avenue and State Route 185 within the CHP Hayward area. No additional medical response, lane closures or towing activity was documented in the available dispatch information.
