A three-vehicle collision was reported at about 3:55 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, on southbound Interstate 405 near West Olympic Boulevard. The California Highway Patrol listed the injuries as unknown in its dispatch information.
The vehicles involved were a blue Toyota Prius, a white Ford sedan and a silver Lexus sedan. CHP placed the vehicles in the southbound freeway’s collector-distributor lanes near the Olympic Boulevard area.
The dispatch entry identified the incident as a traffic collision with unknown injuries. It did not provide additional information about anyone being taken for medical treatment or about the condition of the vehicles.
CHP recorded the vehicle descriptions in an update issued shortly after the initial report. No further roadway restrictions, tow response or subsequent developments were included in the available dispatch information.
