Thousand Oaks, CA (September 20, 2025) – Early Saturday morning, emergency responders were dispatched to a traffic accident causing injuries on the northbound lane of U.S. Highway 101 near the Westlake Boulevard off-ramp in Thousand Oaks. The accident took place around 4:33 a.m. This triggered a response from Ventura County Fire and local police. Initial reports indicate that at least one person was injured in the accident and received aid from paramedics on site. The specifics regarding how many vehicles were involved and the extent of the injuries have not been verified at this time. Emergency medical staff quickly administered care, and the injured individual might have been taken to a local hospital for additional treatment. The accident caused short-term delays on the off-ramp and adjacent freeway lanes as responders focused on securing the area, evaluating the situation, and assisting the injured. The California Highway Patrol is still looking into what led to the incident. We wish the injured individuals a speedy and complete recovery.
