Stockton, CA (February 21, 2026) – Authorities reported an injury-involved hit-and-run collision Friday morning at 2544 E Harding Way. The event took place just before 6:30 a.m. This prompted a response from emergency units. Initial reports indicated that a vehicle with major front-end damage was found at the scene. Witnesses informed emergency responders that they saw no one inside or around the vehicle. Authorities also reported damage to about 10 feet of fence or guardrail and a metal gate post on the south side of the roadway. Emergency personnel arrived to evaluate the scene. The number of injured individuals and the severity of their injuries have not been disclosed. Tow services were called to clear the damaged vehicle from the scene. Investigators combed nearby streets, such as the Cherokee Rd and Hwy 99 vicinity, for any other potentially involved vehicles. Authorities are still reviewing the incident.
