On October 23, 2025, in Stockton, CA, a traffic accident involving two vehicles occurred on the Crosstown Freeway close to the October Avenue exit, resulting in multiple injuries Tuesday afternoon. The accident happened just after 1:30 p.m. An incident occurred on the eastbound side of the freeway, leading to an emergency response from units of San Joaquin County Fire and the California Highway Patrol. Injuries were reported at the location, and paramedics provided assistance to those involved. Although the injuries were characterized as not life-threatening, the individuals involved needed assessment and medical care from emergency responders. Traffic on the eastbound side of Crosstown Freeway was delayed as officials handled the situation and probed the factors that led to the accident. Both vehicles were damaged, but officials have not provided information regarding the number of people involved or the causes of the accident. An investigation is currently underway to find out what caused the crash. Drivers in the vicinity faced short delays while teams worked to clear the road and maintain safety.
