South San Francisco, CA (December 14, 2025) – Emergency responders arrived Saturday afternoon at the scene of an injury-involved traffic crash on southbound US-101 near the Grand Ave off-ramp in South San Francisco. The incident was reported at around 2:53 p.m. , according to the California Highway Patrol. First responders, including paramedics and firefighters, arrived on scene and rendered medical assistance to at least one injured individual. The person was subsequently taken to a nearby hospital for additional assessment and care. The severity of the injuries remains unconfirmed. The incident impacted the Grand Ave off-ramp, causing traffic backups in the vicinity while emergency responders handled the site and worked to resume normal traffic conditions. The number of vehicles involved and the events leading to the crash remain under investigation. Officials are still collecting details on the incident.
