On September 29, 2025, in South Sacramento, CA, a pedestrian sustained injuries on Saturday evening due to a collision between two vehicles on Stockton Blvd close to Fleming Ave. The event took place at approximately 8:00 p.m. This situation led to a rapid response from emergency services. According to initial information from the California Highway Patrol’s South Sacramento division, a pedestrian was hit by a white sedan on the street. The pedestrian was found lying on the ground but still breathing, and emergency personnel arrived quickly to provide assistance. Shortly after, another vehicle was reported to have been part of the accident, potentially hitting the pedestrian who was already on the ground. In total, two vehicles were confirmed to be involved, and the CHP categorized the incident as an 1181-level crash, which means there were minor injuries. Both cars stayed at the location while medical staff provided help to the injured individual and police commenced their inquiry. Officials from the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office were reached out to for support, although live scan identification was not accessible at that moment. The road stayed open but regulated as responders worked to clear the area and help the injured pedestrian. The CHP is still looking into the events that caused the accident and is considering if factors such as lighting, visibility, or others contributed to the pedestrian being hit. We are thinking of the injured pedestrian in this situation and wish for their complete and swift recovery.
