Santa Rosa, CA (January 28, 2026) – Emergency services responded Monday evening to a two-car crash near the Airport Blvd and Airway Dr intersection in Santa Rosa, with at least one reported injury. The incident was reported at about 7:15 p.m. On January 26, it involved a black SUV and a blue vehicle. Several 911 calls came in, leading to a rapid response from local fire and medical teams. One of the vehicles was reported disabled on site, posing a hazard to the roadway. Officials verified the incident was coded as an 11-79, signifying injuries from the crash. However, the precise number of people injured and the extent of their injuries have not been released yet. Crews assisted those affected and worked to clear the intersection, which faced delays while vehicles and debris were removed. An ongoing investigation is probing the cause of the crash, examining possible factors such as excessive speed, driver distraction, or failure to yield.
