Santa Clarita, CA (March 2, 2026) – Two men were killed early Sunday morning, March 1, in a traffic crash at the Sierra Highway and Newhall Avenue intersection. Emergency services arrived on scene at approximately 6:13 a.m. Following reports of a crash involving a trapped person, officials stated the men were suspected of making an illegal left turn from a nearby mobile home park when their vehicle was hit by a westbound Los Angeles County Public Works truck. The truck driver sustained no injuries. Firefighters freed one individual from the wreckage and secured the scene at 6:52 a.m. In total, three individuals were involved, with two ambulances present at the scene. The identities of those who died have not been disclosed by officials. Authorities are still investigating the crash. We extend our condolences to the families of the victims.
