Parking lot collisions frequently occur at low speeds, yet injuries can still happen when vehicles suddenly move close to pedestrians. When backing out of a parking space, drivers often have restricted visibility, hindering their ability to spot nearby pedestrians sitting or walking. Barriers like walls, other cars, or vegetation can additionally obstruct the driver’s view. Even small collisions can throw someone off balance or lead to falls.
