Santa Ana, CA (December 11, 2025) – Orange County Fire Authority dispatch reported an injury-causing traffic collision early Wednesday morning on southbound Interstate 5 near Brea Hill in Santa Ana. The incident took place around 4:34 a.m. Personnel from Arco Engine 21 and Engine 72 arrived at the scene to help those affected. Dispatch audio verified that the incident resulted in injuries, but did not detail the number of vehicles or the specifics of the injuries. Engine 75 was dispatched at about the same time to a different medical call for a conscious patient at the County IRC near Flower Street, while the I-5 crash response teams focused on securing the roadway and aiding the injured. Early morning response and investigation efforts were anticipated to cause traffic delays in the area. Authorities have not yet disclosed further information about the collision’s cause or if any individuals were transported to hospitals.
