San Marcos, CA (November 11, 2025) – A significant traffic collision near Corte of Ispen in San Marcos resulted in severe injuries for one person on Monday evening, leading to an Advanced Life Support (ALS) intervention from emergency personnel. The occurrence happened approximately at 12:13 p.m. on the 10th of November. Paramedics from RA124 and firefighters from Engine 141 were sent to the location, where they found a collision that needed immediate medical attention. As soon as the responders arrived, they commenced treating a patient who had experienced severe trauma due to the collision. Considering the extent of the injuries, the patient received advanced prehospital care before being transported to receive additional treatment. The specific condition of the victim has not been disclosed, but the ALS designation usually signifies a serious level of injury that needs expert paramedic care. Officials have not released information on how the accident happened or if other vehicles were part of it. Investigators are investigating factors that may have contributed, like driver mistakes or road dangers. The vicinity of Corte Manolito and the surrounding intersections faced brief traffic delays while crews handled the emergency.
