San Jose, CA (October 22, 2025) – A woman suffered a wrist injury in a hit-and-run collision Tuesday night in San Jose, according to emergency radio traffic from San Jose Fire.
The incident occurred around 9:02 p.m. on October 21 at the intersection of Old Tully Rd and Monterey Rd. Fire units, including Engine 26 and Engine 8, responded to the scene under a Delta-level emergency, indicating a high-priority medical situation.
Initial reports confirmed that one of the involved drivers fled the scene before law enforcement arrived. A woman at the scene was treated for a wrist injury, and one of the vehicles was reportedly smoking after the crash.
Although police were not immediately required at the scene per dispatch, fire crews continued to assess the situation and provide care to the injured party. The hit-and-run remains under investigation, and no further information on the suspect vehicle has been released.
