San Jose, CA (March 24, 2026) – A motorcyclist was killed in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Meridian Ave and Blackford Ln in San Jose’s Willow Glen neighborhood. Emergency responders arrived at the scene around 1:20 p.m. On Tuesday, March 24, following reports of a crash between a motorcycle and another vehicle. The crash happened near the intersection of Meridian Ave and Blackford Ln. The motorcyclist was transported to a nearby hospital after the incident. The rider succumbed despite medical intervention. Authorities have yet to disclose the motorcyclist’s identity. It was unclear right away if the driver of the other vehicle in the crash was hurt. After the incident, Meridian Ave was shut down in both directions between Minnesota Ave and Hamilton Ave for a prolonged time as crews handled the scene. Further information regarding the events preceding the crash was not immediately forthcoming.
