San Diego, CA (December 24, 2025) – Traffic around Campus Point Dr was snarled Tuesday afternoon following a two-vehicle collision on a local San Diego street that left a driver hurt. The incident took place on Tuesday, December 23, around 5:59 p.m. According to details from emergency dispatch communications, scene reports stated that a 24-year-old female driver was attempting a U-turn when her vehicle was hit on the driver’s side by another car passing through the area. The paramedics examined the driver, who reported pain in the neck, chest, hip, and thigh, and had a short episode of unconsciousness. She remained alert throughout the evaluation and was transported in stable condition to UCSD Hospital for additional medical treatment. Roadway activity was briefly disrupted nearby while crews aided the injured driver and arranged for transport. Authorities have not disclosed further details about the second vehicle involved, and the incident is still under investigation.
