San Diego, CA (January 1, 2026) – A traffic crash near W Arbor Dr in San Diego left two individuals injured in the early morning hours of January 1. Around 1:45 a.m., emergency crews were sent to the scene. and reached the scene to discover both individuals in need of medical care. One patient was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital, while a medical helicopter was dispatched for the second victim owing to the severity of their injuries. The incident occurred in the 9200 block of W Arbor Dr, prompting a major emergency response that included firefighters, EMS crews, and air medical teams. Paramedics first stabilized the two patients at the scene before starting transport, focusing on quick treatment amid what seemed to be a severe incident. Officials have not yet released the identities of those involved or details about the vehicles or circumstances. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash. There have been no updates on the injured individuals’ current conditions or if any other people were involved.
