San Diego, CA (September 7, 2025) – Early Saturday morning, a traffic accident that caused injuries took place on northbound Interstate 805, close to the Governor Dr exit in San Diego. Fire and medical teams from Engine 27 and Engine 36 responded to the location soon after 2:29 a.m. Based on audio from the San Diego Police and Fire Dispatch, the incident, which falls under the emergency response codes “7 Hotel” and “7 India,” took place on a part of the freeway that is notorious for its high-speed traffic and difficult lane changes close to significant ramps. First responders promptly reached the location to evaluate injuries and administer essential medical treatment. The precise count of individuals injured is still unknown, and the extent of their injuries has not been revealed. During the early morning, traffic was impacted as emergency responders attended to the wounded and handled the situation. Information regarding the number of vehicles involved or the reason for the accident has not been disclosed. Officials are actively looking into the situation.
