On November 8, 2025, in San Bruno, CA, there was a traffic accident with injuries on I-280 Southbound near Skyline Boulevard. The accident was reported around 2:49 p.m. This prompted a response from the California Highway Patrol and emergency medical teams. Medics and first responders came to the location to help those involved in the accident. An individual was injured and received medical assistance onsite. Even though all lanes are now open, drivers in the vicinity faced delays because of the emergency response and temporary traffic issues. The precise number of vehicles involved and the exact cause of the accident have not been disclosed. I-280 is an important north-south route in San Mateo County, and accidents along this freeway frequently cause major delays, especially during weekends. CHP officers are currently looking into the incident and trying to understand what happened before the crash. More information is anticipated to come soon.
