San Bernardino, CA (September 26, 2025) – On Thursday afternoon, two people were injured in a slight vehicle collision that occurred on the northbound lanes of Interstate 215 in San Bernardino. The accident took place close to the freeway interchange a little after 5:00 p.m. This led to a unified reaction from medical teams and the California Highway Patrol. The incident included a minimum of two vehicles, and early updates from first responders suggested that both individuals sustained minor injuries. A woman suffered a head injury, while a man complained of head pain due to the airbag deploying in the accident. Both victims did not need to be freed from the vehicle and were conscious when paramedics got there. Medics from the San Bernardino County Fire – Valley Division were dispatched to the location, accompanied by an AMR ambulance unit, which assumed responsibility for patient care afterward. Emergency responders acted swiftly to evaluate and secure the injured individuals before transporting them to a local hospital for additional assessment. Traffic on I-215 experienced temporary disruption as crews operated on the shoulder and at the interchange. No additional injuries have been disclosed, and officials have not provided more information about the events that preceded the accident. The California Highway Patrol is still looking into the incident, and it is yet to be determined if speed, distraction, or other elements were involved.
