A man in his 60s was severely injured on Thursday night in an incident involving a vehicle in the Arden-Arcade district of Sacramento County, California, as reported on October 31, 2025. The event took place at approximately 9:00 p.m. A man was hit by a vehicle on Cottage Way, close to the Fulton Ave intersection, as reported by the California Highway Patrol. The man was reportedly walking northbound across Cottage Way, not at a marked crosswalk, when he was struck by a car turning onto the roadway from Fulton Ave. First responders reached the location and carried the hurt pedestrian to a close-by medical facility to treat his severe wounds. The man driving, who is in his twenties, reported to officials that he hadn’t noticed the pedestrian before the crash. Authorities have confirmed that alcohol did not play a role in the accident. No charges have been filed, and the investigation into the details of the crash is still in progress. We are thinking of the injured man and hope for his complete and speedy recovery.
