Sacramento, CA (January 6, 2026) – Emergency responders arrived at the scene of a two-car crash reported near Hornet Drive, shortly before the westbound US 50 on-ramp, Sunday night. The crash raised concerns about injuries and led to a call for medical assistance. It happened around 5:54 p.m. On the 5th of January. Dispatch audio indicates the crash involved a blue Honda Civic and a red hatchback sedan. One person at the scene appeared hysterical and possibly in shock, with screams audible in the background on the initial 911 call. Although injury details are unverified, emergency services were summoned owing to the evident emotional turmoil and potential physical harm among those present. Medical staff were required to evaluate everyone involved at the scene. Officials are investigating the crash’s cause, including events preceding the collision. Traffic in the area could have been temporarily disrupted while crews assessed the situation and removed the vehicles.
