Sacramento, CA (January 30, 2026) – A head-on crash involving several vehicles caused injuries Wednesday morning near the Sutterville Rd and Freeport Blvd intersection, based on early emergency dispatch reports. The crash was reported at about 10:31 a.m. On 28 January. Fire and medical units were sent to the scene following reports of multiple vehicles colliding, with one possibly catching fire after the crash. The precise number of vehicles in the incident remains unconfirmed, though emergency responders classified it as a major traffic accident necessitating multiple units. Paramedics assessed several people at the scene for injuries, with at least one believed to have suffered trauma. The severity of the injuries and the number of individuals taken to nearby hospitals have not been released yet. Emergency responders disrupted local traffic while evaluating injuries, addressing potential fire risks, and clearing the road. Officials have yet to disclose the cause of the crash, with an investigation still ongoing.
