We offer our deepest condolences to the victim’s loved ones. What Factors Are Commonly Involved in Early Morning Pedestrian Crashes. Pedestrian accidents in the early morning often occur due to lower visibility and less traffic. Low light or darkness can impair drivers’ ability to see someone in the road. Investigators typically examine lighting conditions, vehicle speed, and the pedestrian’s position at the moment of impact. Road design, such as the inclusion of crosswalks or signals, could also be investigated. Temporary road closures frequently occur following fatal crashes.
